Yoga means “yoking” and “union”. Union between body, mind and heart. Between who we think we are and our true self, thereafter between Atman (individual spirit) and Brahman (universal spirit).
It is the perfect evenness of mind: detachment from the dualities of pain and pleasure, success and failure. For yoga is skill in action!

According to Pantanjali’s Yoga Sutras, yoga is defined as “citta vritti nirodha”, the mastery of the activities of the mind-field, the restriction of the fluctuations of consciousness or more simple the abitlity to observe the oscillations of the mind. It has also been described as the process of aligning harmoniously with the universal flow of Supreme Consciousness. A science that focuses on discipline of the mind and concentrates on a strong, pure and healthy body for everyone, no matter the age, the flexibility, the gender or the weight!

It is sat- cit- ananda, the path of existence, awareness and bliss!
