I am teaching in both dynamic and restorative/therapeutic styles. For the last 5 years I have been teaching a variety of yoga classes in Belgium and lately in Greece. I have led gentle hatha classes, dynamic Vinyasa yoga practice, restorative and yin yoga, yoga for pregnancy and other subjects in different studios in Brussels and have organised a variety of yoga retreats and holidays in Greece promoting a healthy and positive lifestyle.
My lessons reflect my view of yoga as a means to develop a strong body, open mind and courageous heart through an energetic flow with grace, alignment and balanced breath. I have completed numerous trainings and workshops on hatha, vinyasa, anusara, pre and postnatal, aerial and restorative yoga by dedicated teachers from Europe, USA and India (Sue Elkind, Carla Anselm, Suryan Thakur, Natasha Rizopoulos, Petros Haffenrichter, Laruga Glaser, Dylan Bernstein, Magnus Ringberg, Alexandra Rossopoulou). Abhaya Yoga (no fear), a method created by Vivi Letsou is always a source of inspiration because it points to the liberating path of self-discovery and fearless action in life. Being attracted by holistic methods I also followed the Usui Reiki First Degree and a workshop – introduction to Ayurveda with Arun Deva.
Currently I am studying Yoga Therapy in London with the aim to help people with different musculoskeletal problems, autoimmune diseases, psychological and other conditions. My aim is to help people of all ages develop strength, vitality, good health, and a joyful attitude in life.
Before dedicating myself fully to yoga, I worked as journalist, communications officer and project manager in the public and private sector in Athens and in Brussels. I hold a bachelor’s degree in “Communication & Mass Media”, a master’s degree in “Political Communication & New Technologies” from the National & Kapodistrian University of Athens and a master’s diploma in “European Studies – Policy Advisor and Project Consultant” held by the University of Louvain & the Belgian-Italian Chamber of Commerce
